Carroll County News: Local News: Holiday Island Rotary installs new officers (07/04/14)

(Photo) Officers for the new year are Rick Ragan, president; Randall Cavanah, president elect; Mavis Lehr, secretary; and Robert Schmidbauer, treasurer. During the past year, under the leadership of President John Wallace, the club awarded scholarships to six Eureka Springs seniors who plan to attend post-secondary schools and assisted other local organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Flint Street Food Bank, CASA, Hilmer Cancer Walk, Carroll County Music/Arts, Veterans Flag Memorial Fund, Boy Scout Troop 67 and the Rotary Youth Exchange. In addition, they contributed to the District's Tornado Relief Fund and the international effort to eradicate polio. The club raises funds to support these efforts primarily from its Memorial Day Party in the Park and its Flag Program. Copyright 2014 Carroll County News. All rights reserved.
